Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Raplify (“Raplify”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Raplify website (raplify.com, raplify.ai) and the Raplify software products, including the Raplify IntelliJ Platform plugin, the Raplify Visual Studio Code extension, the Raplify browser extension, and the Raplify command-line tools (collectively, the “Software”). It is issued in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.
1. How Raplify works (the important part)
The Software is a client that runs on your own machine. When you send a message or attach a file, the Software passes your prompts, source code, and related content to the AI provider you have configured — currently Anthropic (the Claude command-line interface and Anthropic services) — so it can generate a response. This content flows from your machine to that provider under your own account and their terms; Raplify does not operate a server that receives, stores, or retains your source code or prompts for this purpose.
2. Information we collect
- Account information (only if and when you create a Raplify account, e.g. for a future console at app.raplify.com): your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
- Billing information (only if you purchase a paid plan): processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card details.
- Support communications: information you send us when you contact support.
- Website usage: basic, aggregate technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) generated by our hosting provider when you visit our website.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your source code or prompts to train our own models.
3. Content processed by the Software
Your source code, files, and prompts (“Your Content”) are processed locally by the Software and transmitted to the AI provider you configure. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit Your Content and for reviewing that provider’s privacy terms. Anthropic’s handling of data you send it is governed by Anthropic’s privacy policy.
4. How we use information
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Software and website;
- to create and manage your account and process payments;
- to respond to support requests and communicate service updates;
- to detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues;
- to comply with legal obligations.
5. Sharing and third parties
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, under appropriate safeguards:
- Anthropic — the AI provider that processes prompts/content you send.
- Hosting / infrastructure providers — to serve our website and (in future) the console.
- Authentication and database providers — used only if you create an account.
- Payment processors — used only if you purchase a paid plan.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Data retention
We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Because the Software does not store Your Content on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain from your editing sessions.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
9. Children
The Software and website are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International users
We are based in India. If you use the Software from outside India, you understand that information may be processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at raplify.com/privacy, with the “Last updated” date reflecting the latest change.
